about Melanie

Melanie Errico is a New York City transplant who now resides in the Philadelphia area.  She has over 10 years of fashion industry experience and a B.S. in Fiber Science and Apparel Design from Cornell University.   Beginning her career as a 19 year old intern, she designed for New York Fashion Week under the guidance of Cynthia Rowley.  Melanie was always determined to work in small firms, to have the advantage of knowing the development process intimately and the skill to see her products through all the development phases.

This made her highly successful as a designer at Free People, and her work graced their pages for two years before starting her own business and designing for ethical fashion brand Raven & Lily as well as creating concept jewelry for Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People.

Design Philosophy

"I like to mix the sharpness of urban aesthetics with softer laid back bohemian undertones to create looks that are impactful and sensual.  A noir-bohemian sensibility. a woman of mystery, beauty, and strength. I cut and sew prototypes to experiment with new proportions. Each piece is special on its own,  and the pieces fit together to create unique and beautiful looks." - Melanie Errico
